Zach “REAZON” Heiligman is a Grammy-nominated songwriter, producer, artist, performer, creative director, and founding member of Foster the People. His credits include Foster the People’s 3× Platinum debut album Torches, which reached #1 on both Billboard’s Top Rock Albums and Top Alternative Albums charts and #8 on the Billboard 200, as well as Britney Spears’ Gold-certified album Britney Jean, which debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200, for which he co-produced “Don’t Cry” alongside Will.I.Am.

 

Originally emerging as a hip-hop artist and battle rapper, REAZON gained early recognition after winning Jay-Z’s Roc The Mic battle rap competition in 2003 before expanding into songwriting, production, visual storytelling, animation, and creative direction. His independently conceived, directed, and produced animated music video “Where We’re Going” earned a Webby Award nomination in 2020 along with multiple independent film and music honors.

 

Today, REAZON continues to perform, write, produce, and develop original music, film, animation, and multimedia properties.
